Go Utes and bikes without flat tires!

We've been enjoying the first two weeks of being back in school and back on a more normal schedule. Don't get me wrong, I love summer and all of the fun activities and "late nights" with friends, but I also love having Hayden on a better sleep schedule while he's growing and learning at this age. I know that he loves being on a more precise schedule as well. He has his own calendar and we go over all of our activities at the beginning of the week so that Hayden is "in the know"!  My 5 year old LOVES a schedule! HA!

We were gearing up to ride bikes to school on Friday when we found out that Hayden had a flat tire. He was so sad because it was the bike rodeo after school that day (of course he gets a flat tire on the ONE day that we need his bike at school)! He really wanted to participate in all of the fun. In the end, he had to ride his toddler bike to school and he was kind of bummed about it. But he LOVED the bike rodeo and swerving in and out of the cones... even if he was on his "baby bike"!

Swerving through the cones at the bike rodeo on his toddler bike!

The next day was a great day because it was the big UTAH/BYU game day. Mommy was sick, but daddy and Hayden went to his soccer game and then went for a fun round of miniature golf.

They worked hard on fixing Hayden's flat tire. They had to replace the whole thing. Hayden loves helping daddy with fixing things up!

Enjoying a low key football game... WHATEVER! It was a crazy night. We are proud of our Utes!!

We hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! We are loving this fall weather and all of the new yummy recipes that we get to try out. Hayden is a master chef!

KEEP MOVING FORWARD!

Kyle, Adrienne & Hayden
