A very Happy Halloween

We had such a fun night trick or treating.  We are all so tired, but Hayden looked so cute as Captain Jack Sparrow that I needed to post the pictures.  Enjoy...

Captain Jack Sparrow with his crew.

The men... I love them both so, so much!

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a pirates life for me!

I hope you all had a fun and very Happy Halloween!

We love visiting the farm...

Going to the farm was the highlight of our weekend. Hayden has been talking about going back, ever since we visited during October of last year!!

The boys were so excited to head in....

Climbing to the top like he does best!

Loving the SHARK tire swing!!

 Going crazy on the slides

Our favorite part is definitely the corn maze!

My little drummer boy. He was so serious about his beats, ha ha, so cute!

We actually made it through that corn maze that you can see on the map behind us.  Kyle was a fabulous tour guide!!

We LOVE Halloween time and we love all the activities that come with it!! The farm has such fun activities for kids and they have a fun tractor ride that takes you out to the pumpkin fields to pick your own pumpkins too. It's become a family tradition to head over and play for the day before Halloween comes. We had one happy boy, with his pumpkin and kettle corn popcorn, by the end of our visit!

Hope you have a great weekend...

Great weekend!

We had a wonderful, surprise, getaway to Heber. We stayed at the Zermott this weekend and had a blast!  It was a much needed vacation for all of us. I love my family!

We had a blast swimming. We spent HOURS at the pool!

We also spent many hours at the park while Hayden found some fun friends to play "cat and dog" with!  The weather was perfect that day for swimming and the park.

We enjoyed all of the beautiful fall colors. It's such a pretty time of year to be up in the mountains, especially in Utah.  We spent some time at the top of the Homestead Crater. We wanted to go swimming in it, but they were booked for the weekend. Definitely something we will be doing next time we go up!!

We spent time building a fort... if you can't tell, Hayden is a very active and busy boy!!

The next day was a super rainy day and we decided to build Hayden's K'NEX roller coaster down at Nana and Papa's. It only took us about two hours!!  Then Hayden decided to pull it all a part...Kyle got a little frustrated by the end, ha ha!

We went to Wheeler Farm that night to watch the Freaky Fridays show (put on by one of my childhood musical/theater directors). It was so great to see my director again and Hayden loved watching the zombies sing and dance. His favorites were Thriller, Men in Black and Beetlejuice! He stayed safe on daddy's shoulders. :)

Saturday we made our annual haunted gingerbread house. Hayden is getting more creative... the whole back of the house is a spiders web with a big spider on it. He was done by the time we got to the front of the house. Lets just say that he had a "too much sugar tummy ache" by the end of the night, ha ha!

It was so wonderful to have a little getaway and low-key weekend with my boys. We enjoyed every single minute of it. I am so grateful for these two and all of the joy they bring into my life!

Hope you had a great weekend...

KEEP MOVING FORWARD!
