Kyle and I met with our case worker tonight. We discussed all that has happened in the past couple of months, with this past adoption, that just didn't happen. We are still mourning the child that we thought we were going to have and we are still mourning our relationship with our birth mother as well. We truly fell in love with her throughout the two month process of getting to know her and then the birth of the child... and we still love her so much. We're sad things didn't work out as planned, but we know that there is a tiny miracle, just waiting to join our family. We are ready to move forward and hopefully begin again, with lessons learned and love in our heart for this new birth family that we will hopefully meet soon!
We have now been published on the adoption website again and we are looking forward to our newest adoption experience! We feel grateful for the opportunity that we have to start this process again and we can't wait for the moment that we get to announce the good news that we have a new family member... or two... or three!! We are ready for anything!! We just feel blessed to have this opportunity.
